Nice to meet you! My name is Helen Fite. I'm from Columbus Ohio, but currently live in Greenville South Carolina and attend Furman University. I am majoring in Political Science and Communication Studies  At Furman I'm involved in my sorority, Delta Gamma as VP Membership. I am also involved in the Shucker Leadership Institute Lead Team of 2015 as the Director of PR and Special Events.  In addition, I serve as the South Carolina Program Associate for the Jefferson Awards Founcation.

In the future, I intend to pursue a career in government. I am passionate about the foundations of the American government including American history and the constitution. I am also interested in digital communications. All of these fields of interest could combine in many different careers in areas such as public policy and political campaigns, which are of particular interest to me.
